Our Parish offers many different opportunities for returning our gifts of time and talent to God. As stewards of God-given skills and abilities, volunteering in a ministry or organization provides a way to thank God, share our faith with others, and enhance our community.

Music Ministry
The focus of liturgical music is to aid in the leadership of the sung prayer of the assembly.
Our primary goal is to enhance the spiritual growth of each member through liturgical music and community sharing.
All voices are needed and welcome, teenagers and adults. Instrumentalists on a regular or part-time basis are also needed. Sight reading ability is helpful but not required.
Liturgical Ministry
All are called and gifted. By virtue of our baptism, we are called in the mission of the Church to be servants of one another. Our gifts (talents) are for the building of the Kingdom, so the reign of God is made visible here on earth. We are called not to bury our talents, but to develop, nurture, and share them. We are happiest when we are using our gifts. We invite you to pray about sharing your talents and gifts with your SPN parish family. Each commitment runs one calendar year.
Altar Servers
This ministry provides members of the parish with a true opportunity to function as lay ministers by reverently assisting the celebrant and/or deacon during Sunday Mass and at special liturgies throughout the year.
Ushers
These ministers are sometimes referred to as Greeters. Being a welcoming community is very important to us. Ushers are the first face of the parish. They greet those coming into our church, offer assistance to those in need, distribute parish bulletins, take up the collection, and distribute other materials as needed.
Welcoming Committee
The Welcoming Committee strives to make everyone feel at home and comfortable at St. Philip Neri-Blessed Sacrament Parish. Members of this committee speak personally to each of our newcomers and welcome them to our parish family. We also provide useful church information that explains the many activities and opportunities available to members of the parish family.
