The Sacrament of Baptism

Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word.

Baptism Preparation Class
Going to have a baby? Was your baby recently born? Have a small child who needs Baptism? We offer a Baptism session for expectant parents and parents with unbaptized infants or small children. Parish Catechist, Diane Sulllivan, will conduct the meeting either with the parents in their own home or here on our campus.

Participation in the class is necessary before we schedule a day and time for a Baptism here. Pre-registration for the meeting is necessary, so please contact Marie, our Parish Secretary, at marieatspn@yahoo.com or 402-455-1289.
